Bonduthane Polyurethane Tread Wheels
Bonduthane is the trade mark name for a polyurethane liquid cast onto a semi-steel or aluminum wheel center. The result is a high strength, long-wearing, resilient, floor protective wheel with 5-10 times the service life of rubber wheels. They are the most durable and versatile of all the floor protective wheels.
Bonduthane are easy rolling, quiet running on any floor surface and are ideally suited for both manual and power towed operation. They add long life and economy to high capacity tow-line applications where easy starting and sustained motion are essential.
Bonduthane wheels are available with either straight or tapered roller bearings as standard.
These are the outstanding advantages of using this wheel:
- High capacity - equal to comparable metal wheels
- Floor protection - non-marking, non-staining.
- Easy rolling - easy starting and sustained motion.
- Abrasion resistance - five times that of rubber.
- Quiet running on any floor surface
- Greater service life

SOLID POLYURETHANE WHEELS
|
The "Anti Static" Solid Polyurethane Wheel is used to move static electricity away from the manufacturing processes that cause quality problems and production to slow down, such as use of film materials and plastics. For this wheel we use a 70 Shore D hardess to allow for maximum weight capacity.
Anti-static wheels are made from a blend of polyurethane and dissipative compounds for the purpose of electrostatic discharge (ESD). When these wheels are used in casters there is a very low resistant pathway to harmlessly drain the static electricity away from ESD-sensitive environments and instruments.
These are a distinct blue color for rapid differentiation from the industry standard blue polyurethane wheels. |
