HEAVY DUTY DUAL WHEEL CASTERS

Dual wheeled casters are used primarily for heavy duty trailer and cart applications. They are generally specified where high capacity, floor protection or a limited overall height is desired. The inherent "differential action" of the dual wheel caster permits it to swivel with much less effort or power than single wheel casters. All dual wheeled casters have a center support leg for additional strength.

Features
Construction: Heavy section steel plate for both the top plate and yoke base, precision machined race way for bearing.
Swivel Caster: Large diameter hardened and polished steel balls in a large diameter precision machined raceway constitute the main load bearing. The secondary load bearing is a precision tapered roller thrust bearing.
King Bolt: High strength steel bolt with crown nut and cotter pin.
Axle: High strength steel, threaded at both ends.
Wheel Bearings: Tapered roller bearings or straight roller bearings are available for all casters. Straight roller bearings have a hardened and ground steel sleeve that forms a precision inner race.
Lubrication: Readily accessible pressure fittings for swivel assembly and in the wheel hub.
Finish: Durable corrosion resistant finish.
RIGID CASTER: The Series 77-A rigid caster is made of the same heavy section plate as the matching swivel. Outer legs are deep drawn for strength. Legs and center support are continuously welded to the top plate both inside and out.

Load capacity is rated for manual operation.
Casters with 10" diameter by 4" wide and 12" diameter by 4" wide wheel are also available.
